 As part of the Bruce-Grey Branch Ontario Genealogical Society Fall Event on October 19, 2019 at the Normanby Centennial Centre in Ayton, I will be speaking in the afternoon  Estate Records: A Useful Record Set in Your Genealogical Research. Whether your ancestor left a will or not, this record set may be worthwhile exploring. The talk will look at some of the terminology related to estate records with examples. Janet will illustrate how estate records expanded what she knew about her Hemingway family and how they gave clues for further research.

Wednesday, October 23 at Meaford, Ontario -- Exact location to be announced. One presentation in a series of talks hosted by the Meaford Public Library. It is at 2 p.m.

For more information and the registration form to download Advance registration by October 9th. The day includes four presentations, snacks and hot meal at noon. You do not have to be a member of the Ontario Genealogical Society to attend.
