Wordless Wednesday - Winter in my backyard

Posted by Picasa
This is one view from my dining room garden doors. The large trees in the back of the photo are in my neighbour's yard. December 2008

  1. Wow! The sun hitting the tree line is beautiful. It makes me ALMOST love the snow.

  2. Wow it looks beautiful!
Is this the kind of winters my Mum remembered?!

  3. Yes, this is very typical of winters of this area. Sometimes the winters are very long and start in November with the snow staying until March or early April.

Some years, we have major storms.

Thanks for stopping by to visit. Click winters in the labels and you will see more examples of winters here.

  4. Terry, it can be pretty when the sun is shining on the snow and the sky is blue with little wind. It is not so much fun when the winds are high and the skies are dark and you can't see where you are going.

Thanks for stopping by to visit.
